The perception of the colors in each rug can vary widely depending on the environment and placement factors. These factors can include, room paint colors, floor colors, surrounding furniture, lighting, etc.

With striking colors, beautiful designs, and an old-world appeal, Layla area rugs offer an instant style upgrade.

Each Layla area rug is available in nine sizes, including runners. When in doubt, we suggest going with a bigger rug to tie the room together.

Thanks to a low pile and durable printed construction, Layla area rugs can withstand any foot traffic. Plus, it’s stain-resistant, colorfast, and won’t ever shed.

Consider a 5’ x 8’ rug for smaller living rooms. We recommend placing the front legs of your sofa on the rug so it’s not “floating” in the middle of the room.

8’ x 10’ rugs look great in most living room settings. This size allows you to place the front legs of your furniture on the rug, which ties things together.

In larger living room settings, a 9’ x 12’ or 10’ x 14’ rug makes a big statement. Plus, bigger rugs make the entire room look bigger. If you have a sectional, you should probably consider this size.

Your bed should dictate your rug size. For a queen bed, go with at least 8’ x 10’. If you have a narrow bedroom, orient the rug vertically.

If you have a king bed, choose at least a 9’ x 12’. If you have a narrow bedroom, orient the rug vertically.

Your dining table should dictate your rug size. Make sure your rug is at least 3’ longer and wider than your dining table.

The perception of the colors in each rug can vary widely depending on the environment and placement factors. These factors can include, room paint colors, floor colors, surrounding furniture, lighting, etc.
